THE DEPLOYMENT OF 5G IN SPAIN, TO BE DISCUSSED AT THE 5GFORUM

Before 30th June all European countries will have to re-tune their TV channels, freeing the 700 megahertz band (MHz) of the radio spectrum to deploy future 5G telecommunication networks, as Ricardo Medina, CEO of Medina Media Events, organizer of 5GForum, has highlighted in the interview given to COPE Málaga.

This process of liberalising the radio spectrum band, known as the Second Digital Dividend, will place Spain among the leading countries in the development of 5G technology and we will talk about all this and much more in the next edition of the 5GFORUM 2020.

The 5GFORUM will once again bring together experts in the main event on 5G technology on the 6th and 7th of May 2020 at the National Digital Content Hub in Malaga, to put on stage the advances in this technology, providing an opportunity to exchange knowledge of its practical applications.

In the 2019 edition of the 5GFORUM, 250 professional attendees and 100 companies, followed with great interest and during two days the first level keynotes of companies and multinationals such as Samsung, Orange, Rohde & Schwarz, Cisco, Intracom Telecom, Huawei, 5Genesis, Cellnex, Lyntia, Nokia, Hispasat, Keysight Technologies, Dekra and Axión, among many others, and enjoyed, besides the exclusive networking, the latest 5G news exposed in the Demo Area.
