The ambitious project carried out in the Andalusian capital has included the sale of 5G terminals at a reduced price to evaluate the customer experience. A highly positive experience that has also made it possible to decongest part of the 4G network at a time when it could be in high demand by Orange customers in Seville.
On the opening day of Fibes, Orange will surprise with various demonstrations based on the 5G world. One of the live exhibits will be remote inspection and maintenance with robots. A project managed by Robotnik in collaboration with the French operator. Another use case that Orange will expose will be how to provide remote technical support service through 5G.

The TowerCos play an essential role in accelerating the process and must propose proposals that help in this direction, facing a permanent transformation in their solutions, the challenge of energy and the reduction of visual impact, while ensuring the best quality from service.
The Nordic companies Nokia and Ericsson, also at the 5G Forum
The Finnish multinational Nokia will bring to the 5G Forum 2022 in Seville three experiences called Volcán, El Búho and Amatista.
Volcán is a gamified demonstration of the execution on the 5G network (“offloading”) of artificial intelligence applications applied to extended reality. Users of the demo will have to walk on a dangerous tile path on top of an erupting volcano, controlling where they are stepping, thanks to the fact that they can see their own body in the virtual experience.
El Búho is a demonstration on immersive telepresence, which will allow the participants in the demonstration to feel teleported to another place (in this case nearby) and interact with the people present there. Amethyst is an immersive music app that showcases an application of 5G networks and immersive technology for palliative therapy of neurodegenerative diseases.
The application presented by the Finnish Nokia is a demonstration in an environment related to the very current theme of the Metaverse: the objective is to introduce the user’s real body into a virtual reality experience, to make the experience much more realistic. its environment in an egocentric way and an artificial intelligence algorithm is used to separate the body from the rest of the physical environment, and thus be able to mix it with the virtual application.
In addition, Diego González, Researcher at Nokia – XR Lab, will talk to us about the Metaverse and the Realverse.
For its part, the Swedish multinational Ericsson will be present at the 5G Forum 2022 with Somaya El Marrakchi, Head of Networks Iberia, who will speak about the urgency of the moment with some market facts. Why and how will 5G be critical for growth and sustainability?
