Andalucía Directo visits the 5GForum 2019

Canal Sur TV’s program, ‘Andalucía Directo’, was present at the 5GForum in Malaga to share with viewers one of the most amazing demos of the event: “a 5G drone that ‘saves lives'”.

The Nokia Bell Labs project consists of equipping health emergency systems with a series of devices connected to the 5G network that reduce vital times for the care and evacuation of the wounded.

A person calls emergencies warning of the accident. Health emergencies call an ambulance and at the same time send a drone to the place, from where it sends images in real time of the wounded to the health personnel.

At the same time, a person at the scene of the accident can use a triage App, pre-assessing the situation. As the ambulance approaches, a traffic light connected to the 5G network turns green to make way for the ambulance.
